A new bill will be introduced to Congress next week, two months after the body of Fort Hood soldoer Vanessa Guillen was found.
The attorney representing Guillen's family announced she will introduce the "#IAMVANESSAGUILLEN" bill in Washington on Wednesday..
The bill, proposed in July, will allow soldiers to report a sexual assault to a third party.
Vanessa Guillen was a 20-year-old soldier stationed at Fort Hood.
She vanished from the base in April and her body was found two months later.
Her family says that she told them she was being sexually harassed by another soldier and said she no one would believe her if she reported it to her superiors.
