Update: The Silver Alert was discontinued Tuesday morning.
The San Antonio Police Department has issued a silver alert for Joe Becton Tucker Jr., who police said has a diagnosed undisclosed cognitive impairment. The department fears he could pose a danger to himself.
He was last seen on San Antonio's Northeast side wearing glasses, a tan shirt with black square patterns and khaki pants.
Tucker is 79 years old and is described as being 5-7 and weighing 170 lbs. He has white hair and blue eyes, and was last seen driving a white 2014 Jeep Patriot with Texas license place DHZ1898.
