CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — U.S. Ted Cruz received some harsh criticism after making a trip to Cancun with his family during the midst of the biggest weather crisis in Texas in more than a generation.
Although Cruz came back to the state after leaving his children behind in Mexico, many have ripped him for his decision while many constituents were paralyzed by the storm back home.
