Cool Me Down Snowcones located at 14617 Northwest Boulevard scored a 100.
Chef Kings located at 249 Glasson Drive scored a 100.
Texas Sports Bar & Grill located at 3202 Leopard scored a 99.
Little Caesars located at 3301 Baldwin scored a 98.
Let Them Eat Cake & Eatery located at 4915 Everhart scored a 98.
Food Hop Drive Inn located at 1613 Staples scored a 98.
El Olvido Hacienda located at 14617 Northwest Boulevard scored a 98.
Blue Marlin Saloon located at 3006 Surfside scored a 97.
My Favorite Muffin & Bagel located at 3920 South Padre Island Drive scored a 97.
A La Mode Gelateria located at 1145 Waldron scored a 95.
Salinas Catering located at 2515 Leopard scored a 94.
Taiwan Restaurant located at 5425 South Padre Island Drive scored a 93.
Pavani Authentic South Indian Cuisine located at 3206 Tiger Lane scored a 93.
McDonald's located at 4730 Alameda scored a 93.
Grimaldi's located at 5488 South Padre Island Drive scored a 90.
Dropping down to the B-list with an 89 is Subway located at 4256 Alameda.
Violations included employees needed to wash their hands, no certified food manager, no hot water at the men's restroom hand washing sink, no thermometer, employees not wearing hair restraints, but they were wearing jewelry or nail polish and restroom doors must be self closing.
Casa Vieja Jalisco located at 9929 South Padre Island Drive scored an 83.
Health inspectors found food stored on the floor, a dirty ice machine, a dirty tomato slicer, chemicals were near food, no food manager on duty and food needed to be labeled.
Other violations included employee drink cups needed lids, the cook needed a beard restraint, a bulk container needed to be labeled, the back door sweep needed to be repaired and fluorescent lights in the kitchen needed a shield.
Cancun Mexican Restaurant located at 4252 Alameda scored an 83.
The restaurant lost points because beef soup, chicken soup and vegetables kept at the wrong temperature, onions were on the floor, food trays were on the floor, food needs to be covered, a dirty can opener and expired food permits.
Other violations included the hand washing sink used for other tasks, employees not wearing hair or beard restraints, employees must use drinking cups with lids, wiping towels were not stored properly, scoops were not stored properly, souffle cups were used to dispense condiments, the restroom faucet handle needs to be repaired and the restroom door must be self-closing.
