La Playa Mexican Food Restaurant & Cantina located at 4201 South Padre Island Drive and Taqueria Jalisco located at 902 Port both scored a 95.
Outback Steakhouse located at 422 South Padre Island Drive scored a 94.
Peter Piper Pizza located at 6193 Saratoga scored a 93.
My Sub Inc located at 3921 Saratoga and Cheddars Casual Café located at 5855 South Padre Island Drive both scored a 90.
Dropping down to the B-list with an 87 is Texas Flame located at 4535 South Padre Island Drive.
Violations included a towel used to cover shrimp or place fish on, the dishwasher was not working properly, chemical spray bottles were not stored properly, pesticides must be applied by certified pest control operator, flies, employees not wearing hair and/or beard restraints, wiping towels, aprons and scoop handles were not stored properly.
