Earning a spot on the A-list with a 99 is Hunan Express #1 located at 5502 Everhart.
Pho Tastic & Deli located at 4701 South Padre Island Drive scored a 98.
Floyd's Christian Restaurant located at 9502 South Padre Island Drive scored a 97.
Stingers Coffee located at 1304 Airline scored a 97.
On The Border Mexican Restaurant located at 5117 South Padre Island Drive scored a 96.
Tokyo Hibachi Steakhouse located at 5702 Staples scored a 95.
Big Sam's Grill & Bar located at 10514 Leopard scored a 95.
Ramen Legend located at 4938 Staples scored a 94.
Dairy Queen located at 11101 Leopard scored a 94.
Tastea located at 5634 McArdle scored a 93.
Dropping down to the B-list with an 89 is Senor Jaime's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina located at 4615 Everhart.
Violations included a dirty ice machine, a dish washing machine was not working properly, an employee touched face and did not wash hands, roaches, gnats, employees not wearing hair or beard restraints, meat was not thawed properly, scoops are needed to dispense dry goods and a strong sewage odor coming from the women's restroom.
Astor Restaurant located at 5533 Leopard scored an 85.
The health inspectors found a dirty ice machine, food was not covered, food was on the floor, food items were not labeled, no paper towels at the hand washing sink, gnats, wiping cloths not stored properly, rotten limes, dirty kitchen equipment and dirty liquor spouts.
