Pro golfer Tiger Woods has reportedly been injured in a rollover collision, according to a tweet from the L.A. County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff’s department said firefighters needed the "jaws of life" to pull Woods from the vehicle, in a statement. He was taken to an area hospital, where his manager Mark Steinberg said he is currently undergoing surgery for multiple leg injuries.
The crash happened after 9 a.m. Central time Tuesday morning near Long Beach, south of Los Angeles. He reportedly was the only person in the car.

TMZ sportsreported at about 1 p.m. that an L.A. County Sheriff's Department source does not believe alcohol was involved.
