KFC and a company called Beyond Meat have been working together to develop a plant based fried chicken product.
According to Chewboom.com, they are only testing the product in a specific restaurant in Georgia. It is located on Cobb Parkway in Atlanta.
The test period starts Tuesday, August 27. Customers who purchase any menu item will receive a complimentary sample of the product between 10:30 am and 6:30 pm.
The Beyond Fried Chicken 12-piece nugget combo will be available with dipping sauce, medium drink, and a side. The Beyond Fried Chicken boneless wings come in 6 and 12 packs with one of the three signature sauces: Nashville Hot, Buffalo, or Honey BBQ.
This test in Atlanta will help KFC determine the potential of a national debut, Chewboom.com says.
