HOUSTON, Texas — A community prayer service was held for George Floyd and his family today in Houston.
Faith leaders held a prayer vigil and called for justice for Floyd.
His family attended Friday's event, recalling old memories of him and how they are going to continue to push for justice.
Floyd's sister, LaTonya Floyd, was also presented with a plaque.
Attorney Ben Crump joined LaTonya Floyd and Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon at a news conference at The Community of Faith Church in Houston where city faith leaders met during the vigil.
