Two victims identified in Duval County copter crash

<div class="RichTextArticleBody"> <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>Two victims involved in a fatal helicopter accident in Duval County.</p><p>Two helicopters were flying over Wagner Farm, which is privately owned, when they collided about 9 a.m. Wednesday.</p><p>The pilot was Charles Short, 49, of Alice. And the passenger was Jose Renee Garcia, 39, of Realitos. </p><p>One copter was able to make a safe landing, but the other crashed.</p><p>The two people killed were in that crashed helicopter.</p><p>One of the victims died at the scene, the other was flown to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Alice where he died, the Department of Public Safety said. </p><p>Another person involved in the accident, a passenger, has an ankle injury and is listed in stable condition at Spohn Shoreline Hospital. </p></div> </div> ..
The FAA is leading the investigation of the crash. The NTSB will assist.
