The second annual Que Bueno Taco Fest is next month and they are looking for volunteers.
Some people may not know that Que Bueno Taco Fest was created by a local non-profit called CCPATCH. Their goal with the festival is to raise money to restore the historical Ritz Theatre in downtown Corpus Christi.
Anyone looking to get involved with the Ritz restoration can start by attending the Que Bueno Taco Fest Volunteer Orientation Party on Tuesday, August 27. It takes place at the Bay Jewel at 624 N Mesquite St, Corpus Christi, TX 78401, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
There will be opportunities to join different teams who will be helping throughout the event, as well as live music by Jimmy Willden, Tacos, a cash bar, and plenty of information about efforts to restore the Ritz Theatre,
Volunteers will receive free admission to the festival.
If you can't make the orientation, you can still sign up on their website at https://www.quebuenotacofest.com/volunteer/
