More than 200 fugitives are off the streets according to police, thanks to a joint law enforcement effort called "Operation Triple Beam.
Over a six-week period of time, authorities said they rounded up known gang members and violent fugitives.
We're told 218 people were arrested and officers seized 27 firearms, 16.2 kg of narcotics, nine stolen vehicles, and more than 2.8 million dollars in cash.
"We appreciate the collaboration and support our US Marshals partner's provide said Corpus Christi Police Assistant Chief Mark Schauer. "Gang members commit violent crimes in our community and this operation help make all of us safer."
This is the 13th year the US Marshals have teamed up with area law enforcement agencies.
