CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man in his 50's drowned in local waters Thursday afternoon.
Corpus Christi police say first responders pulled a man, who was found unconscious, from the water.
The incident happened just before 3 p.m. near J. P. Luby Park.
Officers added that once the man was pulled from the water, CPR was started to save his life.
Officers later confirmed the man did not survive
No other details have been released.
