CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The owner of the Imperial Cafe in Corpus Christi had a big food giveaway on Saturday in honor of her late father.
The owner's father passed away 100 days ago, and as part of her culture, she had to offer up a tribute to celebrate his life, so she offered about 500 to-go plates to anyone who needed it.
Volunteers helped the owner hand out all the food. The whole event was curbside delivery only to meet social distancing protocols.
