CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Dozens of firefighters and other first responders took part in a hazmat training drill on Friday.
The drill was held at the Owen Stevens Water Treatment Plant.
The goal of the training is to give first responders experience in dealing with a hazardous chemical spill involving a train.
Organizers have had to limit the size of the class due to the pandemic.
Over the past 3 years around 500 first responders have taken part in the training.
