Local law enforcement officials arrested a fugitive early this morning in Rockport.
The U.S. Marshals and Aransas County Sheriff's Department arrested Cavazos in the 200 block of Doughty Street.
Cavazos is wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child serial contact, assault of a public servant and probation violation theft.
The Task Force had received information that Cavazos was staying in Rockport.
The suspect has been transported to the Aransas County County Jail and has been denied bond. He is pending extradition back to Nueces County.
