This weekends free flu shot clinic organized (in part) by the NAACP and Christus SPOHN has enough doses for at least 300 immunizations – not a thousand – as earlier reported. And, these shots will be give out while supplies last.

The NAACP is teaming up with Christus Spohn for a free flu shot clinic on Saturday Dec. 5.
Doctors say the flu vaccine reduces the risk of infection and reduces the risk of ending up in the hospital.
They are planning to give out a thousand vaccines.
Dr. Nelly Garcia Blow, A Corpus Christi Geriatrician said, "Right now when the numbers are climbing right, your risk of infection, the more people around that have the flu, your risk of infection is highest. So right now is really the prefect time."
The free flu shot clinic will be held December 5 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the American Bank Center.
