Corpus Christi firefighters and rescue crews are trying to rescue several people in the Corpus Christi Bay.
The incident happened just after 3 p.m. after a sailboat appears to have collided with a rock barrier jetty in front on One Shoreline Plaza.
Rescue crews and lifeboats arrived at the scene around 3:20 p.m.
Several people were taken to the Lawrence St T-Head so medics could check if any suffered any injuries.

Firefighters say nobody suffered any major injuries.
The boat will be picked up later by a private company.
