CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The holidays are a time for giving, but have you ever thought about giving someone a piano? Now is the time.
Del Mar College will be hosting a piano liquidation sale next weekend.
The sale is going on December 13,14, and 15 at the school's music department.
Just in time for Christmas, you can get a piano with zero interest financing. The Piano Gallery will be delivering all the pianos purchased.
The Piano Gallery and Yamaha have a loan program with area schools and art organizations -- including Del Mar College where they provide pianos for students at the music department.
These pianos will now be sold to the general public at drastically reduced prices.
"For students who want to start beginning piano lessons," Piano Gallery President Medaro Perez Jr. said. "For a child, or an adult hobbyist or for a professional pianist that is looking for a premium instrument."

The prices range from under $1,000 to $18,000 for a concert grand.

Learning to play music is an adventure. It's one of the greatest joys in life.For a child that you want to introduce music education to piano lessons are one of the most valuable and enduring gifts."
Here is an example of the types of discounts they are offering. Perez said a brand new concert grand piano can cost up to $200,000. He said they will be selling a used Baldwin concert grand -- often referred to as a nine foot instrument -- for just $18,500.
