CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A crane collapsed near Interstate 37 and Brownlee on the site of the Harbor Bridge Replacement Project site.

Lynn Allison, a spokeswoman for Harbor Bridge Project construction company Flatiron Dragados, said no injuries were reported, and investigators are on-site to determine what happened.

Allison said the company received news of the incident at around 2:40 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and investigators are on-site to determine what happened.

Allison said one of the 110,000-lb. crawler cranes, a crane mounted to a track that gives it stability and mobility, fell while lifting a connector beam.

"But again, we don't know any details about what's happened other than it's had an accident," she said. "There are no injuries, and we are working with our contractors and supervisors and subcontractors to find out and investigate further what's happened."
