CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A grisly discovery was made on boat near the Nueces Bay causeway on Monday. Corpus Christi Police are investigating the death of man who's body was found in the boat.
Someone called 911 to report they spotted a boat floating near the causeway around 5:30 p.m.
A Corpus Christi Fire Department went to check out the boat and found the man's body aboard. The mast of the boat was also broken.
At last report the Corpus Christi dive team was on sight to help stabilize the boat and get it towed back to shore.
The name of the victim and nature of his death have not yet been released.
