Betty White plans on celebrating her 99th birthday in isolation

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Betty White will be celebrating her 99th birthday on Jan. 17,2021. The Golden Girl sat down with Entertainment Tonight and told them how she is going to celebrate her birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"What am I doing for my birthday? Running a mile each morning has been curtailed by COVID, so I am working on getting The Pet Set re-released, and feeding the two ducks who come to visit me every day," White said.

"The Pet Set" was White's show in the 1970s where she talked to other famous celebrities and their pets.The series was produced by White's late husband, Allen Ludden, who is from Corpus Christi.

White is most known for her role in the comedy television series "The Golden Girls". She is also known for her work in "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Hot in Cleveland".

White has accumulated 24 Emmy nominations throughout her career and won 8.
