The Better Business Bureau is warning people not to fall for fake coronavirus studies. According to the BBB, scammers are sending out text messages and emails promoting fake clinical trials.
They claim the study pays up to a thousand dollars. Once you click on the link attached, malware downloads onto your computer or mobile device.
The BBB says that real medical researchers should never ask for bank information during a screening.
