A woman may have been speeding when she crashed into the Pizza Hut near the Del Mar College East Campus.
The accident occurred just after 1 a.m. Monday in the area of Staples and Baldwin.
Police say that the woman tried to make a turn and lost control of her car.
It went through a barrier and smashed into the restaurant.
The driver was not hurt.
