Chaparral Street will be closed to thru traffic between I-37 and Mann Street.
This will occur Thursday, May 15. Business abutting Chaparral Street closure will have access to their driveways.
Motorists are asked to follow the detour signs around the work zone.
The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises that the closure will be for one day only, weather permitting.
Traffic control devices will guide motorists through the work site. Drivers should expect delays and if possible seek alternate routes or avoid the area.
