Action 10 News has learned the body of the man who drove into the Nueces River has been found.
We’re told the man and two women were in a car on Interstate 37 round midnight when the driver exited toward Labonte Park. The car crashed through a barricade and ended up in the river. The women were able to escape.
A police dive team spent Monday morning and afternoon looking for the vehicle and driver. His body was found shortly before 5 p.m.
We’re told all three were from out of town.
