The threat of storms is forcing the Buccaneer Commission to meet tomorrow to discuss whether or not to hold the Junior Parade on Saturday morning.
The Buc Days Junior Parade is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. along Shoreline Boulevard. Dozens of local schools and groups will be participating, but rain is in the forecast for the next few days.
The Buccaneer Commission’s Chief Executive Officer, Johnny Philipello, said he will be meeting with City of Corpus Christi Emergency Services and the National Weather Services tomorrow at 1 p.m.
They then will determine whether or not to hold the Junior Parade.
Meanwhile, the carnival will be open tonight.
