The Planning Department and National Park Service team is holding a North Beach Eco Park Community Visioning Workshop.  The departments would like to hear your ideas for amenities and park design.

The workshop will be held this Thursday, May 9 from 6:00 p.m to 8 p.m. at the Texas State Aquarium.

Your input will help develop an environmentally conscious plan for a park that will be home to healthy wetlands and wildlife, as well as trails, boardwalks, observation decks, interpretive signs, educational resources, and additional amenities gathered through public input.

Staff will be available to answer questions and take your feedback throughout the evening. National Park Service staff will give a presentation about the project at 6:30 p.m.

Residents and stakeholders are also invited to give their input through the online survey available at https://www.cctexas.com/nbecopark.

Reasonable accommodations are provided upon request and in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. For assistance or to request a reasonable accommodation, please call (361) 826-3583 at least 48 hours in advance.
