The Lighthouse Inn in Rockport has been without its namesake lighthouse since Hurricane Harvey destroyed it.
The lighthouse will soon be back.
Heavy winds during the storm caused the original structure to collapse on the side of the building.
Now, the all-wood structure is being replaced with a new lighthouse, made of 7 tons of steel.
Today, crews installed the lighthouse outside the inn. And if all goes as planned, it will be completed by Memorial Day.
Plans are also in the works to install an actual light at the top of the lighthouse.
