Congratulations to Alice runner Martin Cantu after he completed the Boston Marathon earlier today.
Cantu finished the 26-mile, 385-yard course in 3 hours, 28 minutes, 35 seconds. It means he was able to maintain a pace of 7 minutes, 57 seconds throughout the race. He finished at 12:34 p.m. ET.
Cantu represented his hometown by wearing the orange shirt of the Alice Coyotes’ track team while he was running today.
A big salute to one of South Texas’ finest distance runners.
