Tonight the Corpus Christi Hooks will open their season with a 4 game homestand with the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Omar Lopez is back for his second season as the Hooks manager. He is looking to improve from last year’s Double-A best 82-56 record as the club claimed both the first and second half titles in the Texas League South.
Opening Weekend at Whataburger Field boasts Opening Night color-changing t-shirts, two fireworks displays, The Big Bounce America, and an all-fan Whataburger 15th season jersey giveaway. Single-game tickets are on sale now for the four-day homestand.
The World’s Largest Bounce House is at Whataburger Field Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Lots of action there including a live DJ, giant slides, ball pits, basketball hoops, massive inflatable animals and climbing frames.
