Suspect sought in convenience store robbery

Corpus Christi Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a local convenience store this morning.

 

CCPD officers this morning responded to an aggravated robbery call at a store on the 4200 block of Carroll Lane.

A 35-year-old woman working at the store told police that she heard a person enter the store while she was working away from the counter. The woman said she returned to the front of the store to find a masked man in a long sleeve, yellow shirt pointing a handgun at her and demanding money.

 

The woman said she open the cash register, and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as her purse before leaving the store.
