The man accused of fatally shooting two women and shooting two officers is being held in the Nueces County Jail on a $3 million bond.

Police say officers were responding to a disturbance last night at an apartment on the 3000 block of Antelope Street when Moore began shooting at them. No officers were injured but the patrol car was hit several times. Officers were able to take Moore into custody without returning fire.

Moments later, officers found the bodies of two women in a neighboring apartment.

Their identities have not been released.

Police say this is the fifth and sixth homicides in Corpus Christi this year.

As for Moore, he appeared before a magistrate at the City Detention Center. His case has been assigned to the 94th District Court.

The Corpus Christi police are expected to release more details later this morning.
