The South Texas Trail Riders have learned what caused the death of a horse and another to become ill enough to be put down while on the annual trail ride to San Antonio.  Toxicology tests show the two horses ingested anti-freeze.

Earlier this month, organizers with the South Texas Trail Riders announced on Facebook that one of their horses had died and another had to be put down while they attended the rodeo in San Antonio.  According to the post, the horses were tied up with a trailer while parked at Martinez Hall.
