The city’s westside could soon see a new hotel in the area.
Today, the Corpus Christi City Council voted to rezone 2.07 acres of land along the 200 block of South Enterprize Parkway and Bear Lane from a “Light Industrial District” to “General Commercial District”.
This paves the way for the Devary Durrill Foundation to build a hotel behind the Veterans Affairs Administration office and near West Oso High School and West Oso Junior High School.
There’s no word yet on when construction on that hotel will begin.
