Organizers for the 5th annual Fiesta de la Flor today announced the entertainment lineup for this year’s event.
This year’s event, honoring Tejano music superstar Selena Quintanilla, will be held at North Bayfront Park in downtown Corpus Christi on April 12-13.
Festival organizers say musical acts Little Joe Y La Familia, Gilbert “Gibby” Velasquez and Friends and Jon Mikael Mrez will take the stage on April 12.
Leslie Grace, Jay Perez, Mariachi Campanas de America, Erick Y Su Grupo Massore, Jenny and the Mexicats, Raulito con Grupo Remedio, Lucky Joe and Jon Mikael Mrez are scheduled to provide musical entertainment on April 13.
Other attractions planned for the event include El Mercado, featuring more than 80 artisans from Mexico, Central America, South America and within the United States, La Plaza, offering food from area food trucks, and El Parque, a kids zone with a variety of immersive fun activities for children.
Inside the American Bank Center, visitors can explore the Tejano Lowrider Extravaganza, featuring a gathering of award-winning and nationally acclaimed custom cars, including the Anything for Selenas car from the hit movie “Selena.”
Festival gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on April 12 and noon on April 13, and tickets are available online at Eventbrite.com.
