Sandi’s Diner is celebrating its 6th Anniversary and the completion of the Ayers Street Construction Project through a grand re-opening event.
The 50’s themed diner is popular for its homemade hamburger buns and sweet treats.
It was one of several businesses affected by the construction that took over a year to complete.
The street closures made it difficult for patrons to get to the local favorite.
“This is the grand entrance end of the construction and a new beginning for me cause I’ve been here for six years,” explained diner owner, Sandra Clark, “we struggled but now we’re here and it’s gonna be amazing from now on.”
Sandi’s owner made sure to thank her loyal customers for their patronage even when construction was at its worse with free cakes and sodas.
