Bealls department store is giving you a chance to give back to children in need.

The department store is partnering with Toys for Tots to further their goal of bringing new toys to children across the country.

Bealls has committed to donate $100,000 to Toys for Tots in addition to thousands of dollars that they have contributed over the last seven years.

“We have donated over $740,000 since 2011 to the Toys for Tots foundation to help put toys in every child’s home at Christmas” said Cindy Rowden, sales associate at Bealls.

The department store is the community to join effort in purchasing “Bears that care” also that go by the name of “Bo Hugglesworth.” With the sale of each bear, one dollar will be donated to Toys for Tots. The cost per bear sells for $7.98.

“With that simple purchase, you are already making a great donation to a great cause” said Rowden.

People can visit any of their local Bealls location to purchase their very own Bo Hugglesworth. The bear can also be purchased online.

Bo’s story has also been shared on social media. By using the hashtag #WhereDidBoGo, an additional $1 will also be donated every time the hashtag is used.
