The Coastal Bend Troop Support sends Christmas gifts all around the world to women and men serving our country. With the season of giving around the corner, they are gearing up for Christmas season.
They call it “Operation Fill A Stocking” and ask for help. You can help uplift the Christmas spirit of a troop by filling up a Christmas stocking with toiletries, notes, decorations, and much more. They are asking if you or your place of work would be willing to fill one of these stockings. Personal notes or Christmas cards are highly encouraged.
“We got a letter from one of the soldiers one time, and he said he felt forgotten, and then he received our package and it made him feel really good. The moral boost that these care packages that we give our military is just immeasurable, there is no price we can put on it.” Said Carla Reed, president of the Coastal Bend Troop Support.
