A man suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car.
The accident happened just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Leopard and Lantana Streets. Officers on scene say the man was trying to cross Leopard Street and was not using a crosswalk. A woman driver did not see the man, according to officers, and struck him.
The man, in his mid-40’s, has serious injuries, according to officers on scene. He was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
The driver will not receive a ticket for the accident, police say.
