The Hurricane Harvey Recovery golf tournament tees off next week, and The Mission Restaurant Supply and Coastal Bend Restaurant Association is striving to raise money for restaurants still recovering from Hurricane Harvey.
“As the Coastal Bend Restaurant Association, we are here for the restaurants that are in need and to help them out,” said Matt De Shields, president of Coastal Bend Restaurant Association. “Our plan is to get with the chambers of commerce from the different areas and have them select the restaurants, depending on how much we raise. We are trying to make it as fair as possible.”
With money raised, more restaurants will be helped in Rockport, Port Aransas, and Aransas Pass. This is your chance to participate or compete for the fun, to win prizes, and of course help raise money for restaurants that have been missed around the community.
The Hurricane Recovery Golf Tournament will take place at the Rockport Country Club on Monday, October 22 and the shotgun start will begin at 1 p.m.
