A local movie theater that had been previously closed by City-County health department officials is expected to remain closed through the weekend.
A sign posted at the entrance of the AMC 16 theater at 5218 Silverberry Drive states the theater will be closed thorough October 7.
On Wednesday, officials with the Corpus Christi – Nueces County Health Department closed the theater after inspectors found evidence of a mouse infestation.
The health department said on Wednesday that the theater cannot reopen until they have zero counts of mice and no activity of mice in their theater.
