Jess Cavazos is one of the best tattoo artists around.
“Honestly, I’ve never even expected to become a tattoo artist,” said Cavazos.
Cavazos says he can’t remember exactly when he started drawing, but it was a long time ago.
“It was as long as I can remember. There’s kindergarten pictures of me where I have have my drawing. That’s when I messed around with crayons and stuff like that,” said Cavazos.
Now Cavazos is becoming a renowned tattoo artist.
He has been tattooing for about 8 years, and one day he opened up his email and couldn’t believe his eyes.
“One day I opened an email and it says Inkmasters Casting. I read the email I immediately just started sweating,” Cavasos said.
And Cavasos, now becoming a mentor to many, said he must practice what he preaches.
“I have to take this opportunity because I constantly preach to everyone like take chances, set your goals really high and put yourself out of your comfort zone because that’s the only way you are going to grow,” said Cavazos.

“It was one of the most challenging things I ever had to do, Not only emotionally, mentally, and physically but I mean I feel like anything you really work hard for ends up ultimately worth it in the end,” concluded Cavazos.
