Dan McQueen is running for Mayor of Corpus Christi, again.
The city secretary’s office confirmed this morning that Dan McQueen has put his name on the November ballot.
Dan McQueen won the mayoral election in 2016. He resigned 37 days later.
In that election, Dan McQueen built his credentials for the mayor job based on his engineering education. He claimed to have a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering, but Six Investigates could not find any records to support that claim.
Six investigates contacted Florida State University officials and asked if they had any degree records for an Eldon Daniel McQueen with the same birth date as the Mayor. Florida State has no record of McQueen attending, according to information provided to 6 Investigates.
