CORPUS CHRISTI – During a special meeting, Corpus Christi Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a $210 million bond proposal.  The 2018 bond package would go towards safety and security, technology upgrades and renovations and construction at various campuses.  A majority of the funds will go towards building a new Carroll High School.

“Carroll High School is a wonderful campus.  There’s lots of traditions and memories there, but it was built in 57′.  And to meet the needs and the safety needs of our students right now, we do need some changes,” said Dr. Kelly Manlove, Carroll High School Principal.

The proposal will be on this year’s November ballot.
