Repairs are planned on the Fulton fishing pier that was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. According to the mayor of Fulton, FEMA has agreed to pay the $1.9 million needed for the project.
The Rebuild Texas Fund will kick in $100,000. And the folks who make Yeti coolers will also contribute $150,000.
The new pier will pretty much look like the old pier but there will be extra reinforcement below the waterline to help it better withstand any future storms hurricanes. A start date on the construction is still pending.
