Tuesday is the first chance for Flour Bluff parents to sign children up for the Latchkey After School Program for the 2018-2019 school year. Corpus Christi registration is set to begin Thursday.
Flour Bluff ISD registration begins today at 11:30 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m. at Flour Bluff High School, 2505 Waldron Road. Parents can also sign their children up tomorrow, August 8, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the high school.
Corpus Christi ISD parents can register their kiddos on Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at each campus (locations listed below).
Registration will not be offered on the first day of school, so it is important that all children be pre-registered. Online pre-registration is also available for Corpus Christi ISD and Flour Bluff ISD at www.ccparkandrec.com by clicking on “Register Online.” Parents can do online pre-registration from August 13 through August 17. The registration portal will close on August 17 at 5 p.m.
Latchkey is ideal for working parents seeking a safe and convenient place where children are supervised after school. The program operates Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in conjunction with the school district schedules.
All Latchkey staff are trained in child development, CPR and first aid. Parents may request reasonable accommodations for children with disabilities by contacting Mickela Hernandez at (361) 826-3486.
FEES:
Corpus Christi ISD: $60/child due at time of registration
Flour Bluff ISD: $50/child due at time of registration
Calallen ISD: $99/child due at time of registration
Fees can be paid with check or money order only. Starting in September, tuition will be due on the first of each month.
TUITION:
Corpus Christi ISD: $109/month/first child, $94/month/each additional child.
Flour Bluff and Calallen ISD: $99/month/first child, $84/month/each additional child.
Tuition assistance is available for qualified applicants.
