The police department won this year’s Boots ‘N Badges Challenge.
Chief Mike Markle was presented with the Blood Cup for collecting the most units of blood during the challenge held from July 15th to July 28th.
They collected 286 units of blood for the Coastal Bend Blood Center.
The fire department didn’t do too badly, they collected 272 units.
