CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two Coastal Bend restaurants are aiming for perfection.

They've now earned repeat Perfect Scores from the Kitchen Cops.

Granny’s Tamales in Annaville is one of three in the Coastal Bend. This particular one is owned by Olga Gonzalez.

Olga is a daughter-in-law of the late Juanita Gonzalez, who the business is named after.

She says this is actually the fourth time her store has earned a Perfect Score from inspectors, and a sticker from the Action 10 Kitchen Cops.

In other words, they know how to keep it clean here.

They don't just know how to keep it clean, they are also known for their chicken, jalapeño, and cream cheese tamale. It’s award-winning.

Matcha Konomi's earned another perfect score.

It’s kind of hidden away at 1316 South Staples Unit G, between Morgan and Elizabeth.

Just follow your taste buds.

It’s their 3rd sticker since they opened in February 2019.
