Jane’s L-head Seafood Stand located at Coopers Alley scored a 98.
Yolanda’s Specialty Cakes located at 2033 Airline scored a 98.
Mudbugs Cajun Icehouse located at 2743 Airline scored a 96.
Longhorn Steakhouse located at 5488 South Padre Island Drive scored a 95.
Poets Restaurant located at 4825 Saratoga scored a 93.
Dippin’ Dots/ Doc Popcorn located at 5488 South Padre Island Drive scored a 93.
Eleanor’s Coffee Bar & Market located at 4231 Alameda scored a 91.
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria located at 5488 South Padre Island Drive scored a 91.
Dropping down to the B-list with an 84 is Pasta Company located at 4128 Staples.
Violations included food not covered, a bag of sugar on the floor, employees not washing their hands, no hot water, an expired health permit, no paper towels at the hand washing sink, employee wearing nail polish, chicken was not thawed properly, styrofoam cups were used to dispense sugar, ice scoops were not stored properly, the freezer and freezer door need to be repaired.
